I’ve just finished a four- day fashion shoot for Box 2 and Matchbox 2, an amazing internet-based company specialising in clothes for us ‘real women’. They are fabulous and I actually design some of them.
They arrived on mass with cases bursting with wearable goodies and everything else involved in shooting clothes for their catalogue.
Nicky models quite a few of the garments herself and Annie, ‘the dark one’, who is an absolute scream, models the others. I have been watching Annie on the telly recently as she is the face and voice of the ‘Silverkrin’ advert running at the moment. Quite a shock for me when I first heard her dulcet tones as I channel hopped!
Alan Keohane our trusty photographer arrived, and Nicky, who is a human dynamo, whips everyone up and into shape for the very long four-day shoot. Lisa organises all of the garments and dresses and keeps everything in perfect order. Well done Lisa!
We are always lucky with the weather when Nicky is here and four days of glorious sunshine followed. Marrakech has amazing light and is a favourite with photographic shoots and film crews from all over the world. We shot three days at the house and a day on location in the Medina, Gueliz, and the Palmerai of Marrakech. I took a few photos myself to show you and will post some of the professional pictures when I have them.
